Sean C. Piket - Founder & CEO

Overview 

Mr. Sean Piket has over 18 years of experience in sales, sales management, entrepreneurship and business operations primarily at emerging-growth IT services firms ranging from start-ups to mid-market national systems integrators. Mr. Piket’s primary areas of expertise include creating, building and improving sales operations and improving individual selling effectiveness, efficiency and productivity through the implementation and delivery of sales coaching services and solutions.

Experience

Previously, Mr. Piket was employed by such companies as UQ Solutions, North Central Consulting, Whittman-Hart, Immedient Corporation (formerly Raymond James Consulting), Data Return and Pariveda Solutions. Mr. Piket’s diverse experience includes selling in the field in a direct sales role to building and leading inside sales operations to building and leading a national CRM practice to building and leading a national sales operation. Mr. Piket’s roles ranged from Account Executive to National Sales Director to CRM Practice Director to Vice President and since 2004, entrepreneur and business owner as the Founder & CEO of Sales Integrity, Inc.

Mr. Piket co-authored the Sales Operations Framework™, a sales and marketing content library containing documented best practices, methods, processes, templates and tools.

Mr. Piket has authored several courses and workshops, including “The Sales Success Framework, “The Sales Management Framework, and most recently “The Sales Discipline Framework™" and "The Sales Enablement Framework. Mr. Piket has also authored a white paper titled “Building & Leading Successful Sales Teams”.

Education and Service

Mr. Piket currently serves on the Board as President of the Dallas Affiliate of Sales & Marketing Executives International (SMEI), a worldwide professional association for sales and marketing leaders. Mr. Piket volunteers his time as a coach/mentor to Pi Sigma Epsilon, a national professional organization in sales, marketing, and management for college students. Mr. Piket previously served on the Product Advisory Board for Semantra, a natural-language search software company based in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Piket is the Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of the DFW IT Roundtable, a networking organization and consortium of niche-focused IT services providers founded in 2004. Mr. Piket also launched the Chicago IT Roundtable in 2008 as a Co-Founder, transitioned his Chairman responsibilities, and now serves as an advisor to the Board. Mr. Piket regularly publishes and speaks on the topic of improving sales effectiveness through the strategic use of Web 2.0 technology, tools and frameworks under the title of “Business Development in the Digital Age”. Mr. Piket graduated Summa Cum Laude from Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. in Communications.

Out of the Office

Sean is a former collegiate football player who enjoys regularly working out and is a fan of college and professional football, basketball and baseball. Sean is an avid reader of books on the topics of entrepreneurship, leadership, personal development, psychology, social technologies, and sales & marketing. Sean is a Parrothead (a.k.a. Jimmy Buffet fan) and has attended 13 years of Jimmy Buffet concerts in five different venues across four different states. Sean was recently married (May 23, 2009) and he and his wife, Donna, make their home in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, Texas with their cat, Mila, and two yellow lab dogs, Jake & Trinity. Donna is the Founder of a recently launched startup business, Healthy On The Go, in Dallas, Texas.
